Document celebrates the holiday season with a different kind of gift guide. One curated by some of our nearest and dearest collaborators, each who share some of their dream gifts to give and, of course, to receive. In the photoshoot above, we show-off a few of the items from their wishlist.
Delphine Danhier’s Wishlist
Document’s contributing stylist wishes to inject a bit of culture into the staid December months, so give her copies of Self Portraits by Lee Friedlander and The Abandonment of Art: 1948 -1988 by Lygia Clark—both MoMA publications. But what is culture without style? She’ll have you know that Hermès accessories and sunglasses by Roberto Cavalli are the only way to soak in the glittering knowledge of the arts.

Erdem’s Wishlist
Erdem Moralioglu, the designer known for his entrancing prints, is already dreaming about a blanket from the artisinally minded Labour and Wait to snuggle under while jotting down design notes in his own Erdem notebook, swathed in paisley pink print. As for the Hermès belt? Just tuck it in his stocking.
Sarah Richardson’s Wishlist
Document’s fashion director wishes for Erdem earrings to pair with her suede Jimmy Choo pumps. For terrain beyond the dance floor, she’s eyeing Hermès boots to carry her through harsh winter evenings with elan.
Christopher Kane’s Wishlist
The Scottish born designer Christopher Kane wishes that he’ll be drinking plenty of Ruinart Rosé, his favorite champagne at holiday parties fueled by the music of Erol Alkan Reworks Album—courtesy of Phantasy Sound. To balance out these bubbly nights, he also wishes for a lifetime supply of coconut water and coffee, both of which can fuel those early morning walks with his precious pup (who would sport a chic coat courtesy of Mungo & Maud).
LadyFag’s Wishlist
New York’s undisputed queen of the night wants to make sure her club family reads every page of Doll Parts by Amanda Lepore and Thomas Flannery, to discover some of Lepore’s patently glamourous beauty tips—along with other wonderful insights into the life of the rule-breaking nightlife staple. But what’s a holiday without a little familial provocation? Her wish for waistcoat chains by Vivienne Westwood should do just the trick.
Andre Walker’s Wishlist
The ever mindful designer is looking inward this holiday season, wishing for a personal audience with Ravi Zacharias, the Indian evangelical author. He’s even politically wistful, after a year of dismal setbacks. He’d like to design isolation booths with artist Krzysztof Wodiczko for all upcoming political debates in the United States.
Sandra Choi’s Wishlist
The creative director for Jimmy Choo has little wishes, which is to quality over quantity: A leather-strapped Cartier watch (honestly, an item that should be on everyone’s list), travel sized perfume from Memo Paris, and luxurious white fox fur boots by Jimmy Choo.
