Following his NYFW debut, the designer joins his collaborators and muses for an unforgettable night at the iconic Manhattan venue

There is almost no overlap in the Venn diagram between Fashion Week attendees and Super Bowl fans—so it isn’t surprising that Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s afterparty, held in collaboration with Document, was packed from the moment the doors opened. After making his first show for New York Fashion Week, the designer joined muses, designers, and creatives in the Boom atop The Standard, High Line, chatting, reveling, and dancing to the synthy stylings of DJs Juliana Huxtable, X3butterfly, River Moon, Fashion and Katie Rex.

Following an intimate VIP dinner, guests filtered into the space: lounging at tables and perusing Document’s latest issue, or else pulling each other onto the crowded dance floor. The event drew celebrity guests ranging from the musician Kelela to makeup artist Patrick Ta to drag icons Honey Balenciaga, Gottmik, and Aquaria. Also in attendance were Tina Leung, Denzel Dion, Aliyah Bah, Pierce Abernathy, Mirage, Miles Greenberg, Deon Hinton, Paige Reifler, Delaney Rowe, Ruby Zarsky, Zsela, Xunami Muse, Juliana Huxtable, Luca Mornet, Sarah Lugor, Griffin Maxwell Brooks, Antoni Bumba, and Teddy Quinlivan.

“Showing in New York has always been a dream of mine,” Ludovic de Saint Sernin says of the evening, which he describes as “a dream come true.” His debut—described as the most-anticipated of the season—saw him collaborate with the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation for a collection celebrating not only the legendary artist but the city that inspired him. It was fitting, then, that Sernin and his collaborators looked out on the city’s skyline as they celebrated well into the early hours.
