Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta returned to their favorite Brooklyn warehouse for Eckhaus Latta’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The designers have showed in the same airy industrial space for two seasons now, offering guests a bit of welcome respite from the show circuit. For this collection, Mike and Zoe elevated the essence of Eckhaus Latta—cut-out knits and structured basics—with polished pin-striped suiting and some truly exceptional shearling outerwear. The cast included many of Eckhaus Latta’s longtime friends and artistic collaborators, their faces airbrushed by Isamaya Ffrench with muted swirls of blue, green, orange, and pink. Eckhaus O.G. Paloma Elsesser was seen in a geometric two-piece set, complete with airy arm cutouts and anchored with UGGs—the Australian brand also collaborated with Mike and Zoe on those shearing pieces. There remains hope in being both cozy and cute at the end of this year.
