The newly transformed Repossi flagship, brainchild of Rem Koolhaas from noted firm OMA, opens this month at the Palace Vendôme in Paris. A seamless integration of architecture and classic display, the store takes into account the retail experience, with each floor of the three-level area reflecting the different paces of shopping: fast, slow, and very slow.  The ground level is designed for faster, walk-in purchases, while the upper level houses the full Repossi collection in a gallery setting for perusing at a leisurely pace. The underground level, the Salon, provides a comfortable and intimate space to discuss custom pieces in a personal setting, with all floors linked by a stunning stone staircase.
