A neon-soaked revival launched the 2025 Rendez-Vous Ivory fragrance collection with DJs, cabaret, and icons past and present

To mark the launch of their limited edition fragrance Born in Roma 2025 Rendez-Vous Ivory Collection, Valentino Beauty celebrated with a one-night-only revival of Studio 54, New York’s most legendary dancefloor. Hosted at the nightclub’s historic venue on Wednesday, September 10th, this wasn’t Valentino’s first time celebrating at Studio 54. In 1979, Valentino Garavani launched Viva Jeanswear, a youthful line of bootcut jeans primed for the times.

The brand’s return to the club was marked with the same wild ethos—a tribute to nightcrawlers and their hedonism. Rather than reconstruct the notorious discotheque exactly, the brand re-engineered the space to honor past and present, tapping legendary Studio 54 resident Nicky Siano, Honey Dijon, and The Dare for DJ sets that soundtracked a vibrant, neon-lit dancefloor.

A live cabaret performance by Violet Chachki seduced the room from a chair twirling in mid-air, while Jonte’ Moaning’s powerhouse routine worked up the crowd with a team of voguers. Winged go-go dancers and cigarette girls with trays of saccharine treats flitted through the event, curated by Ladyfag, New York’s most decorated nightlife producer.

Celebrities like Cher, Lenny Kravitz, Coleman Domingo, Tessa Thompson, Sophie Thatcher, and Elsa Hosk mixed with the partygoers. Studio 54 regulars and nightlife pioneers Pat Cleveland, Maripol, Tracey Norman, Richie Rich, and Kevin Aviance met the next generation of culture creators: Rowan Blanchard, Jazzelle Zanaughtti, Lourdes Leon, Hannah Traore, Fashion Labeija, Young Emperors, Jess Xu, Miles Greenberg, Volvox, Dominga, Tanya Ravichandran, Oliver Hartt, and more.
