The exhibition showcases the true range of Luchford’s work—from his gritty ’90s images to his exuberant Gucci collaborations

On May 28th, Glen Luchford’s selected works 1990-2020 opens its virtual doors.

“I’ve been meaning to exhibit elements of my work for some time. Covid-19 made me think in different ways about how to show work that can be looked at from isolation and during this time of on-going social distancing,’’ says photographer Glen Luchford, who’s based in LA where restrictions are still widely in place. “Obviously, nothing can replace the sensory impact of wandering a gallery or museum, but this virtual gallery does give the opportunity to see the work in a space and look for as long or as little time as desired, and I’m very happy to be able to share it.”

The exhibition will showcase a selection of Luchford’s body of work over the last 30 years: from his often-gritty ’90s images and iconic Prada campaigns, to his cinematographic and refined later work, to his most recent over-the-top fantasy images and collaborations with Gucci. Finally, Luchford will also reveal a selection of widely unseen photographs from his personal archive.

Hosted by Art Partner, Selected Works 1990-2020 will be on view from May 28 through June 30, 2020. Access the exhibition here.
