Just weeks after his cyborg-chic Tokyo extravaganza, Kim Jones teams up with Raymond Pettibon for an equally futuristic Fall/Winter 2019.

When Kim Jones set about to create his third collection for Dior Men, statues suited up in armor had caught his eye. That’s why Dior Men’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection was filled with metallic hues, austere suits, and tactical vests, along with animal prints and a handful of looks covered in the artwork of Raymond Pettibon to liven things up. The hardcore punk-era Black Flag and Sonic Youth collaborator, known for his stylized ink drawings, worked with Jones to create hand-beaded jackets and knitwear, including an elaborate riff on the Mona Lisa for a sweater in the final look. (For his two previous Dior collections, Jones teamed up with graffiti legend KAWS and Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama.) To compliment the Fall/Winter 2019 collection, Peter Philips, the creative and image director of Dior Makeup, went for a naturally groomed look, using the Dior Homme Dermo System line followed by the ultra-fine Dior Backstage Face and Body Foundation.
