Pink boots flew through the air, Cardi B commanded the stage, and Ladyfag watched her vision come to life. Last month, the New York nightlife legend returned with the seventh iteration of Ladyland Festival, celebrating Pride this year Under the K Bridge with a glitter lineup of musicians, DJs, drag queens, and more queer stars and icons.

The spectacle was everything we hoped it would be. On the first night, Cardi B returned to Ladyfag’s stage almost a decade after her 2017 surprise performance at Holy Mountain. Mid-twerk-off, Sukihana flung her pink stiletto boots into the crowd of adoring fans. Night two brought its own revelations as FKA twigs spread the gospel of Eusexua and DJ VTSS ate her set up and left no crumbs.
