Grey, Jason Wu’s latest creative endeavor, draws on close friendships and collaborators to offer four intimate collections a year with a seasonless wardrobe in mind. With these personal inspirations, Wu’s new dinner series caters to that same group in an antithesis to the standard fashion event. Launched this past week, the program hosted 20 guests, bringing together old friends and new, including Ruth Bell, Hilary Rhoda, Tao Okamoto, and Document’s Nick Vogelson at NYC’s The Lucky Bee. Opened earlier this year, the restaurant by Rupert Noffs and former Fat Radish sous chef Matty Bennett serves seasonal Southeast Asian street-food in a vibrant space. Scroll through above for an exclusive, behind the scenes look.
